Just wanted to drop a quick note. As of right now, our house is not in the path of any of the fires that are burning in San Diego. Because we live on a canyon and there is much dry brush down there, we are obviously watching with great concern. One little spark could spell disaster. Things are very dry and windy & things can change at a moments notice.
We're ok for now, but we have packed just in case, and we're taking shifts watching updates on TV and the web. Thank you to all who have called, texted or emailed us to check on us.
If you know how, please do a "rain dance" for San Diego.
