Week In Review

Yet another week has passed us by. Kyle is now 13 weeks old...or 3 months. I don't know when the appropriate time to switch from weeks to months is, but I've made the leap. Just like Jenna isn't 28 months...she's 2. No one who asks how old your kid is really cares to do the math, they just want to know a year. haha.

This post will be just a random assortment of junk that makes up our world. Went to Sea World last weekend trying to soak up the last of our annual passes. We were joined by "Pencer" as Jenna calls her friend Spencer and his parents. It was a really nice time.

The kids with Elmo and Big Bird

Jennifer holding Kyle. A much needed break for Mommy's arms and she got to soak up baby goodness then hand him back.

Daddy, Jenna and Spencer...rushing to get to the Bay of Play.

Captivated by the Walrus. (No John Lennon reference intended.)
Not sure if it was cooties from Sea World or from school (I'm assuming Sea World) but Jenna had a runny nose on Wednesday that progressed to Thursday and full coughing and grossness by Friday. And by Friday, Mommy (who NEVER gets sick) had an awful sore throat and runny nose. So, we didn't go to school on Friday. No sense exposing the other kids any more than we already have. Then Kyle started feeling badly and it was all downhill after that. We took 2 hour shifts overnight both Friday and Saturday holding him because he can't breathe and I believe his throat is sore, too as he wants to nurse non-stop. This has been a very sleep deprived weekend. We were going to go to Sea World today but none of us feel good at all.

Happy Boy Kyle hanging out with Snuggle Puppy (our giant stuffed dog) and in his Halloween jammies.

Our big boy sitting up and holding his head up so well.

Sleeping Cutie...blissfully resting before he got this cold.

Hanging with Mommy for some tummy time.

SUPER HERO FAMILY????

Jenna was wearing a face cooling mask from the fridge the other evening. So, you ask...what is her super power? Making Mommy laugh, of course.

The face mask makes an awesome belt, too. She always uses her little vacuum saying, "I'm getting the dog hair." Too bad it doesn't really work!!!!
I couldn't even begin to tell you Daddy's super power with a bean bag pillow on his head and Mommy's new sunglasses. Super Silly? He always makes Mommy and Jenna laugh.
Jenna put a bucket on my head and hers, then said, "Looking good, Mommy." She's such a riot!!!!
